Since 1996, CILA has been the unified voice of investors and locators in the Clark Special Economic Zone — advocating for their interests, facilitating access to government, and building a thriving business community.
Our Story
Three decades of serving Clark locators.
CILA was born from the need for Clark locators to have a collective voice in dealing with government agencies and promoting the zone as an investment destination. Starting with 43 founding members, the association has grown to represent 250+ companies across 17 industry sectors.
Today, CILA remains the CDC-recognized representative body of all CSEZ locators, serving as the primary conduit between business and government in Clark.
Feb 1996
CILA Founded
Atty. Elena Lim and 43 founding locators established CILA to give Clark investors a unified voice.
Aug 1997
SEC Registration
CILA formally incorporated as a non-stock, non-profit organization under the Securities and Exchange Commission.
2008
CDC Recognition
The Clark Development Corporation formally recognized CILA as the official representative body of all locators in the Clark Special Economic Zone.
